Work: demonstration projects in detail

By Ryless KechitPublished on Updated on

The brands are invented, the screens are real interfaces built for the demonstration. They show the method until the first case studies are published.

Orbe, urban logisticsDemo

Five fewer manual steps for every pickup request

Animated demonstration with a fictional brand, Orbe. A rescheduling request comes in, the agent checks the schedule, replies to the customer and releases the old slot.

Context

Orbe delivers and collects goods for shops in Lorvanne. Requests come in by email and phone all day long.

Problem

For each request, someone read the email, opened the schedule, checked the trucks, wrote the reply and updated the tracking sheet.

The tool

An agent reads the request, checks the schedule and the fleet, and sends the reply when everything matches. Otherwise it hands over to the team with the context. A dashboard follows the day’s requests.

Stack

  • Next.js
  • AI agent on a language model
  • Schedule and fleet API
  • PostgreSQL

Typical timeline for a project like this

4 to 6 weeks

Gain

Five manual steps removed per request. No more retyping between the inbox and the schedule.

Maison Verre, stained glass studioDemo

Quotes arrive with the measurements, no more calling back

Animated demonstration with a fictional brand, Maison Verre. The showcase site goes from a wireframe to the finished page, then scrolls down to the gallery of pieces.

Context

Maison Verre restores and creates stained glass in Aubrevault. Its old website did not display properly on phones.

Problem

Requests came in by phone, with no dimensions and no photo. Every quote needed a call back, sometimes two.

The tool

A showcase website built around the studio’s pieces, a light gallery, and a quote form that asks for the dimensions and a photo of the opening.

Stack

  • Next.js
  • Static hosting
  • Form with photo upload
  • LocalBusiness structured data

Typical timeline for a project like this

3 to 4 weeks

Gain

One call back avoided per quote request: the measurements come with it.

Saltis, gymDemo

No more calls to the front desk to book a class

Animated demonstration with a fictional brand, Saltis. The app shows the day’s classes, the customer books the cycle class, then the reminder arrives.

Context

Saltis is a neighbourhood gym in Vernoche, with about thirty classes a week.

Problem

Bookings were made by phone. The front desk wrote them on a sheet, then called back the day before to confirm.

The tool

A booking app connected to the class schedule, with an automatic reminder the day before and a waiting list that frees up on its own.

Stack

  • React Native
  • Class schedule API
  • Push notifications
  • Online payment

Typical timeline for a project like this

8 to 12 weeks

Gain

Three steps removed at the front desk for every booking: the call, the note, the reminder.

Gabarit, van rentalDemo

Bookings are no longer retyped into the schedule or the contract

Animated demonstration with a fictional brand, Gabarit. A booking confirmed on a phone lands in the branch schedule, then the contract gets ready.

Context

Gabarit rents vans and trucks in Sorlanges, to individuals and tradespeople alike.

Problem

Every rental went through three places: a paper diary, a spreadsheet and a Word contract filled in by hand.

The tool

Booking software on a tablet for the branch, connected to online booking. The schedule updates and the contract is generated from data entered only once.

Stack

  • Next.js
  • PostgreSQL
  • PDF generation
  • Electronic signature

Typical timeline for a project like this

8 to 12 weeks

Gain

Two retypings avoided per rental, and a contract ready to sign when the customer arrives.

Albâtre, dental practiceDemo

Patients find emergency slots without calling the front desk

Animated demonstration with a fictional brand, Albâtre. The practice moves from the second page of results to the first, then an AI assistant quotes it in its answer.

Context

Albâtre is a three-dentist practice in Quernay.

Problem

The site only showed up on page two for “emergency dentist Quernay”, and AI assistants did not mention it. The front desk spent its mornings on the phone.

The tool

A technical audit, one page per treatment and an emergencies page written with the team, up-to-date structured data, emergency hours published where search engines and assistants read them.

Stack

  • Next.js
  • Dentist and FAQ structured data
  • Up-to-date local listing
  • Search monitoring

Typical timeline for a project like this

4 weeks

Gain

One call to the front desk avoided for every patient who finds the slot online.

Six projects for real clients

Before this site, I built these tools for clients in Switzerland, Spain and elsewhere. Their names stay confidential: only the sector and the country are given.

  • DeliveredVehicle rental, Switzerland

Online booking and a WhatsApp AI agent

    Starting point
Missed calls were turning into lost customers, and bookings were handled by hand.
    What was built
An online booking flow, a text message sent after every missed call, and an AI agent on WhatsApp that answers and qualifies each request, all connected to Odoo.
    Result
Every missed call gets an automatic follow-up. Bookings land in one place.
  • DeliveredProfessional services, International

    Editable sales proposals

    Starting point
Every sales proposal was rebuilt by hand for each prospect.
    What was built
Print-ready proposals in HTML and PDF, with an edit mode in the browser. No technical skills needed to adapt them.
    Result
A tailored proposal takes a few minutes, without going through a contractor.
  • DeliveredFitness and wellness, International

Google visibility for a fitness studio

    Starting point
A studio that barely showed up on Google, with its company listing stuck in validation.
    What was built
Search optimisation reworked in two passes, technical then editorial. The Google profile unblocked and validated, and local partnerships to gain visibility.
    Result
The profile is validated and the studio shows up in local searches.
  • PrototypeOn-demand services, Spain

    On-demand cleaning platform

    Starting point
An entrepreneur had to convince partners before investing in full development.
    What was built
A live web demo with booking and provider payments, followed by a mobile version.
    Result
The demo got the entrepreneur a client meeting in Geneva.
  • PrototypeRoadside assistance, International

Real-time tracking for a towing fleet

    Starting point
The goal was to show that trucks could be tracked live without heavy infrastructure.
    What was built
A mobile demo that places the vehicles on a map and animates their routes in real time, with no server.
    Result
Feasibility is proven, and the next phase is discussed on a concrete basis.
  • ScopedHairdressing and barbers, Geneva

    Booking for a barbershop chain

    Starting point
Bookings and loyalty for several shops were scattered across different tools and paper.
    What was built
Full scoping: online booking, one app for clients and one for staff, Stripe and TWINT payments, and an online haircut logbook unique to the chain.
    Result
Scope, architecture and budget are validated with the client. Development can start.
